AnvouJambol is a research officer and conservation biologist, employing molecular biology assays for livestock disease research and diagnosis in Nigeria. A staff of the Molecular Biology laboratory, she has an MSc in Conservation Biology (University of Jos/ AP Leventis Ornithological Research Institute, Jos) and a BSc in Zoology (University of Jos).
As an upcoming scientist, she has gained experience in diagnosing a variety of DNA and RNA pathogens using PCR/RT-PCR. Her research interest isin understanding disease ecology of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases of livestock. She also has interest in investigating the possible transmission of diseases by wild animals that live in close proximity to their domestic relatives (the wildlife-livestock interface of disease management).
